Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before registering for or entering a Pencil Box Quiz round.

Welcome to The Pencil Box Quiz, operated under Quiz Village. By registering an account or entering any weekly round hosted under The Pencil Box Quiz brand, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

Registration is free and open to all individuals. Entering a specific week's round additionally requires payment of that week's entry fee (as displayed on the website at the time of entry, subject to change).

2. Registration and Weekly Entry

  • Registering an account is free and does not by itself issue any code or grant entry into any round.
  • A fresh entry fee payment is required for each week's round you wish to join. Only upon successful payment is a new entry code (format PBQxxxx) generated and issued — this code is valid for that round only.
  • Each week's entry is confirmed only upon successful payment through our designated payment gateway (Razorpay), and the resulting code applies only to that week's round. Paying for a later round issues a separate, different code.
  • It is the participant's responsibility to ensure the email address and mobile number provided during registration are accurate, as all communication, including your round entry code and round confirmations, is sent to the details provided.

3. Round Participation

  • Participants must use the entry code issued to them for that specific round when joining the quiz on the specified platform. Codes are deactivated after their round concludes and cannot be reused for a later round.
  • We reserve the right to disqualify any participant found using unfair means, multiple registrations to gain undue advantage, or engaging in disruptive behavior during a round.

4. Changes to a Round

We reserve the right to modify a round's date, time, format, entry fee, or prize structure due to unforeseen circumstances or as part of normal weekly operations. Participants who have already paid for a round that is subsequently cancelled will be handled per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

All quiz content, questions, branding, and materials are the intellectual property of Quiz Village and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any technical issues arising from third-party platforms, if used, that may affect a participant's ability to join or complete a round.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of your account or participation in a round after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
