Refund & Cancellation Policy

How refunds and cancellations are handled for Pencil Box Quiz event registrations.

This policy outlines the terms under which refunds and cancellations are handled for Pencil Box Quiz event registrations, operated under Quiz Village.

1. Registration Fee

The registration fee for Pencil Box Quiz is non-refundable once payment has been successfully completed, except in the circumstances outlined below.

2. Cancellation by Participant

  • If you wish to cancel your registration, please contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled event date.
  • Cancellations made within this window may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion, less any applicable payment gateway or transaction fees.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event, or after the event has taken place, are not eligible for a refund.

3. Duplicate Payments

In the event a participant is accidentally charged more than once for the same registration (for example, due to a technical error or accidental double submission), we will identify and refund the duplicate charge in full, less any non-recoverable payment gateway fees, within 7-10 business days of the issue being confirmed.

4. Event Cancellation or Postponement by Us

If we cancel or indefinitely postpone the event for any reason, all registered participants will be offered a choice of:

  • A full refund of the registration fee, or
  • Transfer of their registration to a rescheduled date, if one is announced

5. Technical Issues

We are not responsible for a participant's inability to join or participate in the quiz due to their own internet connectivity, device issues, or issues outside our control. Such circumstances do not qualify for a refund.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under the eligible circumstances above, please email us with your registration details (name, email used for registration, and order/ticket number): quizvillage.india@gmail.com

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method via Razorpay within 7-10 business days of approval.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised date.
